Monroe Capital, Inc. was founded in 1996 by Paul Adams. Paul has more than thirty years of experience in the real estate and finance industries.
Surrounded by an experienced and talented team, Paul Adams, Monroe Capital, Inc. and its wholly owned companies have facilitated in excess of $500,000,000 in financing solutions throughout all facets of the commercial real estate industry. These funds have provided borrowers with the capital necessary to acquire real estate with an aggregate value exceeding $4,000,000,000.

Paul began his career in the real estate and finance industries over 30 years ago and has honed his ability to thoroughly understand the complexities of a project and provide practical financing solutions. Paul has vast experience as an entrepreneur and throughout his career has built multiple private and publicly traded companies. Paul has helped facilitate the acquisition of over Three Billion Dollars in commercial real estate for borrowers. Paul is an avid bicyclist and strong supporter of charities such as Boys and Girls Club of Rochester and Bivona Child Advocacy Center as well as other educational programs.
Chuck began his career in public accounting, serving the banking, construction, and real estate industries. This experience launched his almost 30 year career overseeing multi-billion dollar financial operations in the construction & real estate markets. Respected globally for his financial leadership and business acumen, Chuck has led numerous acquisitions and turnarounds while overseeing year-over-year strategic growth and continued profitability. His commitment to exceed customer expectations, foster continuous improvement, and deliver innovative solutions is evident through proven results. Chuck is active in a variety of business and civic organizations, serving on the Boards at McQuaid Jesuit High School and the Villa of Hope, and on the Advisory Council for Bryant University’s Dean of the College of Business.
Bob joined Monroe Capital in 2019 bringing over 11 years of progressive accounting and finance experience. Bob began his career in public accounting where he served a variety of industries including real estate and manufacturing. Prior to joining Monroe Capital, Bob served as the Controller for a local real estate development and hospitality company. During his tenure, he managed the day to day accounting function and established processes and procedures that contributed to the company’s growth and success. Bob is a Certified Public Accountant and graduated with a B.S. in Accounting from the State University of New York College at Brockport.
Debby joined Monroe Capital in 1996. She is an experienced accounting professional with over 25 years of experience. Debby oversees day-to-day finance and accounting activities and is the key contact for retirement investments. Debby also plays an active role in the management of Monroe Capital’s diverse real estate and loan investment portfolio.
Melanie joined Monroe Capital in 2000 and oversees record management of the loan portfolio, this includes monitoring borrower compliance, document preparation and issuing notices and satisfactions. Melanie is also responsible for accounts payable and receivable.
Jen joined Monroe Capital in 2014 with a B.S. degree in Communications from LeMoyne College and earned a M.S. degree in Photography from Syracuse University. Jen manages the post-closing process and assists in the coordination of day-to-day operations. Jen is responsible for compiling, monitoring and maintaining corporate records. Jen also facilitates both the investment and lending arms of Monroe Capital’s operations.
Glenna joined Monroe Capital in 2018 bringing six years of experience in finance, accounting, and customer service. She graduated with a B.S. in Accounting from Grand Canyon University. Glenna’s responsibilities include marketing coordination, financial analysis, lead generation, and loan origination.
Adam joined Monroe Capital in early 2017 as Network Administrator. His responsibilities include maintaining and upgrading network and computer systems, resolving user issues, and ensuring network security and connectivity. Adam is currently pursuing a B.S. in Software Engineering at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Adam is an Apple Certified iOS Technician and has an extensive background in computer repair and maintenance.
Gary brings over 35 years of construction and project management experience to Monroe Capital. Gary has built numerous commercial and medical office buildings. His understanding of the intricacies of construction facilitates the analysis of loans and expedites the due diligence process.
